“This is what the Lord says, he who made the earth, the Lord who formed it and established it—the Lord is his name: ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’ Jeremiah 33:2-3 NIV
Take a minute to let this verse sink in. God, the Creator of the world and everything in, makes this offer to each one of us, “Call to me and I will answer.” Not only will He answer but He promises to confide in us and give us insight and knowledge into things we have no other way of knowing. Don’t ever believe the lie that God is unapproachable. In invites you to call on Him, and waits patiently to interact with you. Will you take Him up on His offer?
Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I shall rescue you, and you will honor Me. Psalm 50:15 NASB
Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. Jeremiah 29:12 NIV
He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. Psalm 91:15 NIV
Seek the LORD while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near. Isaiah 55:6 NIV
That’s my favorite verse. What a great reminder this morning that God, as big as He is, still cares for us. It is so encouraging.
