A Shepherd And A Thief

The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.  I am the good shepherd. John 10:10-11a NLT

The thief and the shepherd have radically different plans for you;  one wants to steal your joy and destroy you, the other wants to give you a rich and satisfying life…

“The LORD is my shepherd; I have all that I need.

Tired?

He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength.

Confused?

He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name.

Frightened?

Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me.

Hurting?

Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.

Hungry for something better?

You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings.

Lost?

Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the LORD forever.”
Psalms‬ ‭23:1-6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Isn’t it great to know that God’s goodness and unfailing love never stops pursuing us? Even on your darkest day, God loves you and will continue to pursue you. He never gives up on one of His sheep! He truly is a good shepherd!
