What Do You Need To Sail Past?

“Paul had decided to sail past Ephesus to avoid spending time in the province of Asia, for he was in a hurry to reach Jerusalem, if possible, by the day of Pentecost.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭20:16‬ ‭NIV11‬‬

Like Paul, we all need to map out the best course to get us where we want to be, avoiding the places that distract us and knock us off course. Paul set sail past Ephesus not because he didn’t enjoy spending time there, but simply because he knew God wanted him in Jerusalem. To the contrary, Paul was very fond of the people in Ephesus and knew it would be hard to leave if he stopped. He wasn’t willing to take that chance! He was determined to get where God wanted him to be as quickly as possible!

Where does God want you?

What do you need to sail past to get there?
