Take a moment to reflect upon all Christ has done for us? Consider the price He paid to bring us peace.
We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:6 NIV
Does the realization that our iniquity was laid upon Him make a big enough difference to keep us from going astray, from turning to our own way?
“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” 1 Peter 2:24 NIV
Did He do enough for you? Will you die to sin and live for righteousness?
We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? Romans 6:2b NIV
If we continue to live in sin, what does that tell the Lord? What does it tell the world around us?
