“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us” Ephesians 3:20 NIV
God’s power, abilities and resources know no limit! He is able to do immeasurably more in our lives and in our situations than we would even think to ask or imagine! That brings me hope! Whatever difficulty you are praying about today, God is, as the King James Version puts it, “able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think!”
There is no end to His insight or understanding of the challenges you face. He knows exactly what you’re up against and has already figured out the best course of action. In other words, He has all the answers, and His plans for your life are far greater than what you are praying for, far, far better than anything you could begin to imagine or hope for!
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8 NIV

I do not have time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson and Jephthah, about David and Samuel and the prophets, who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions, quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies. Women received back their dead, raised to life again. Hebrews 11:32-35a NIV
Consider His power displayed in creation.
Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing. Isaiah 40:6 NIV
Our God’s power is limitless. And according to Ephesians 3:20, our central verse for today, His power is at work in you and I. You can trust Him to do amazing things in your life, because He is planning to do abundantly more than you’ve ask for or could even imagine! Now, that’s a God worth surrendering to!
