“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 NIV
Our world is undoubtedly full of trouble: pandemics, issues in political ideology, social unrest, and much more. We can see with our eyes now, what Jesus spoke of on many occasions. The enemy will be allowed to start his war against our world, and it appears it may have already begun.
We have one solution! Remain in lock step with our Lord, who maintains control over all things. His love for us, and our love for Him remains our strength.
I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. Psalms 34:4 NIV
It is promised:
You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you. Jeremiah 29:13
Our answers remain in Jesus. He is the only way through these troubled times. We must believe His word and trust in Him! It is time we seek Him like never before. The enemy will only try to blind us more to Him, as he seeks to destroy more lives.
It is written:
Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8 NIV
This has never been more true than it is today! We will continue to be hit with issues and concerns designed to take our focus away from God. Let us remember how important it is to cry out to Him and to declare our love for Him.
For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory. Deuteronomy 20:4
He promises us victory as He’s already won the battle for us. We simply must be prepared to fight and endure.
The victory is His!
