“Now after the three-and-a-half days the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them. And they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” And they ascended to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies saw them. In the same hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. In the earthquake seven thousand people were killed, and the rest were afraid and gave glory to the God of heaven.” Revelation 11:11-12 NIV
Once our purpose and plan for Him is complete, where does God want us to be?
With Him!
Jesus said:
“My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.” John 14:2-3
When we become Christians we have the benefit and joy of knowing we will spend eternity with Jesus! He is preparing a place for us!
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”John 14:6 NIV
Jesus came down to earth , took the form of a man and gave up his life to free us from our sin and grant us eternal life with Him.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” John 3:16-17 NIV
Let’s take a moment today to focus on this simple reminder of a glorious truth for all believers! No matter how difficult life can be on this earth, we will spend all eternity in the presence of our God, who loves us and went to great lengths to redeem us! Be encouraged!
