The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9
God did not create heaven to be an exclusive country club. He does not post snipers at the gates to prevent entrance. Instead he says:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”Matthew 11:28-30 NIV
God wants us to be with him in heaven for all eternity.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:16-17 NIV
God has given each one of us a personal invitation to come to him. He loves us and wants to save us now and for eternity. If your goal is to make it to heaven, be encouraged because that’s God’s goal for you too! He promises everlasting life to all who believe in Jesus. This promise is a guarantee, as God never strays from his Word or breaks a promise! How great it is ro know that God created us in his image, and wants us to be with him forever.
Take great joy in the hope we have and spread the good news. God’s love is unconditional and forever.
Jesus left us all with a wonderful assignment!
“My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work. Don’t you have a saying, ‘It’s still four months until harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. John 4:34-35 NIV
He then says:
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20 NIV
He wants us all with him eternally! Praise the Lord!

He wants us with him forever and has the patience to give each of us enough time to avoid being left behind!
Remember to love one another!
