God Is Committed To Your Spiritual Success

“I always thank my God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus. For in him you have been enriched in every way—with all kinds of speech and with all knowledge— God thus confirming our testimony about Christ among you. 1 Corinthians‬ ‭1:4-6 NIV

I too am so thankful for the grace we receive as believers in Christ Jesus. God’s favor is given to us even though we’ve done nothing to earn it and really don’t deserve it! God enriches our lives in every way! Paul was encouraged when he heard the Corinthian Christians speak and realized they had gained insight and knowledge in the things of God. That’s the way it works in Christianity. We enter in to a relationship with Christ, then God opens our eyes and we begin to understand spiritual truth. As we gain insight we grow in our relationship with Him.

Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed. He will also keep you firm to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians‬ ‭1:7-8 NIV

Knowing Him, we lack nothing! We look forward to the day we will see Him face to face and while we wait, we use the gifts He’s given us to positively impact the lives of others.  Even though we often fall short, we can rejoice in knowing that He takes responsibility to keep us firm till the end. That’s fantastic news, as it means He will give us everything we need to make it through this life without turning from our faith. When we are temptated, He will be sure to provide an escape and when we are weak and struggling, He will give us strength! Then He will present us blameless before God the Father.

Blameless! Let that sink in. Jesus is ensuring that you will not be blamed for all your mistakes, for all the sins you’ve committed! When He went to the cross, He took on the punishment we deserve, so we will not be blamed for any of it! Now that’s grace!

God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭1:9‬ ‭NIV‬‬

What is God’s desire for your life? He wants you to fellowship with His Son Jesus’ it just doesn’t get any better than that!
