Jesus went to great lengths and much personal sacrifice to cover your sins with His blood! All of your sins are forgiven! If you are carrying condemnation, Satan is getting into your head. He loves to cripple believers with unnecessary guilt. Let the truth of God’s word bring you encouragement and freedom this morning!

That was written by David. You remember David, the one God refers to as the apple of his eye….the one who committed sexual sin with Bathsheba, then had her husband killed so no one would know! Think that through for a minute. If he was still the apple of God’s eye, his sin was completely forgiven! God no longer held it against him! I doubt David’s sin pales in comparison with yours, but even if it does, you can God’s forgiveness is complete. He wipes the record clean!

If you’ve read the Bible you know how incredible Jeremiah’s statement is; the sin of Israel and Judah was immense. They sacrificed their children in the fire, committed horrific acts in worship of other gods, and engaged in temple prostitution! Jeremiah tells us that even if you search for Israel’s sin, you won’t be able to find it! Why? Because no record of it remains! He has blotted it out! That’s what God does for his people. That’s what God does for you!
Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Romans 8:33 NIV
If Satan tries to hammer you with guilt and condemnation today, don’t fall prey to his tactics! God justifies every believer! If you’ve been justified, it’s as if you never sinned in the first place! There is no record of sin against you! You are clean! Be encouraged!
