Trouble Seeing A Way Out?

I have swept away your sins like a cloud. I have scattered your offenses like the morning mist. Oh, return to me, for I have paid the price to set you free. Isaiah 44:22 NLT

Have you ever tried to drive on a really foggy day, when you can’t see more than ten feet in front of you? It’s nearly impossible and very dangerous! Your instincts tell you to pull over and wait for the fog to lift, but you fear an unsuspecting driver behind you might come along and rear end you. There’s no safe way to navigate through it. As you cautiously inch along, you wish you’d never left in the first place. That’s the way it is with sin. It clouds your vision and traps you in a dangerous situation. It appears innocent enough in the beginning, but when you get into the thick of it, you can’t see your way out. Your thoughts go something like this, “How did I ever get myself into this mess?” “I wish I had never started down this road!”

If you find yourself on that road today, and you can’t see your way out, be encouraged by the words of Isaiah. God can lift the fog! And the good news is, no matter how far you’ve wandered away from Him, and His plan for your life, He will welcome you back! He says, “Oh, return to me, for I have paid the price to set you free.” It’s not His desire to condemn you, but to save you out of the mess you’ve gotten yourself into. Don’t let Satan convince you it’s too late, that you’ve gone too far. Jesus paid a very high price to set you free! When He took your sins upon Himself on the cross, he purchased the right to sweep your sins away like a cloud. So will you let Him set you free today? Will you humble yourself, admit your sin to God and ask for His forgiveness?

There is a way out. You have a choice. He will set you free.
