God ALWAYS has the upper hand! Jesus had told his disciples that no one could take his life from him, rather he was laying it down willingly; and if he lay it down willingly, he could pick it back up again. Jesus made an intentional decision to die on our behalf, to suffer the punishment we deserved so that we could be redeemed. Satan was never in control. For, as the scripture says, it was impossible for Jesus to be held in the power of death!
Now God has not only raised the Lord, but will also raise us up through His power. 1 Corinthians 6:14 NASB
Good news! If you are in Christ Jesus, the enemy has no power over your life either!
The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you. Romans 8:11 NLT
God ALWAYS has the upper hand, not just in the resurrection of Jesus, but also in your life! The enemy is not in control. Whatever challenges you face today, rest assured that God is able to raise you up out of them! Jesus died to deliver you from the power of darkness! He loves you that much!
And this is the will of God, that I should not lose even one of all those he has given me, but that I should raise them up at the last day. John 6:39 NLT
