The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you not wanting anyone to perish, but all to come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9-10 NIV
It’s amazing what we have to look forward to as we walk daily with the Lord! We wander the earth, with so many cares and concerns, yet he continues to shower us with his blessings the whole time.
He promises;
“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’” Jeremiah 33:3 NIV
Also he promises;
“Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:12-13 NIV
The Lord makes it simple to find him, in all situations. He promises us great things if we simply call out to him. No matter our circumstance, God gives us his attention, when we walk with him daily.
While we know that we are not worthy, God says – call on me, and I will be there! This tidbit of truth, can carry us through the worst of times and make the best of times even greater when shared with HIM!
Think about this message, for all of us who seek him, and are disciples of HIS son and our Lord and Savior – Jesus Christ:
“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.” Psalms 91:14-16 NIV
What great truths to know, as we walk through life each day!
He is the only true God, and Jesus Christ is the one whom he has sent.
