Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” Isaiah 30:21 NIV
Isn’t it great that the Lord chooses to remind us, throughout his Word, of the path he wants us on. For our daily walk to be successful, it has to be done his way. He will guide us, and his ways are perfect.
Simply written:
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. Isaiah 55:8 NIV
We must fully surrender, there really is no better way to live, than his Way.
Jesus said:
“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” John 14:6-7 NIV
God is perfect! He knows our plight, our challenges, the path he has for us, and who he wants on that path with us.He has this, we don’t!
It is written:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
Which one of us does not desire this for ourselves?
He has our back, always.
He goes on to say:
“Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity. Jeremiah 29:12-14 NIV
Without Him, we are all in captivity!
